From Soldier to Educator: The Story of Eric T. Smith

Raised by a widowed mother in Delaware County, PA, Eric T. Smith found strength and inspiration through sports and positive role models. These early experiences shaped his values and his path in life, leading him to graduate from Kutztown University with a degree in Leisure and Sports Studies and a minor in Coaching. Professionally, Eric has dedicated himself to making a difference in the lives of others. He has worked with court-adjudicated youth, children with special needs, and students requiring behavioral and emotional support. Through his work in education and coaching, he continues to positively impact lives and serve as a role model for those around him.

A Life of Brotherhood and Purpose

During his time in the PA National Guard, Eric formed strong bonds with a group of soldiers who became like family. These role models, all members of the Masonic brotherhood, inspired him to join this great fraternity. As a father of three, an author, and now a Master Mason, Eric has found fulfillment in combining his passions for service, leadership, and self-improvement. He aspires to continue giving his gifts to society by supporting good initiatives and leaving a legacy of positivity and dedication through Freemasonry.
