"Behold How Good & How Pleasant…"

Unity, service, and compassion: building a stronger community, stone by stone.

Chartered in Middletown, Delaware · 1894

We Believe…

Making good men better,
and communities stronger.

We are a brotherhood of men trying to live by what we believe, and to be useful to the people around us.

Rooted in the legacy of Prince Hall Freemasonry and guided by the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Delaware, under the leadership of Most Worshipful Grand Master Vandrick Hamlin, we work to uphold the values that hold both our Brotherhood and our community together.

We try to be there when we're needed: helping our neighbors, supporting good causes, and standing up for people who deserve a voice. It's steady work, and we do it together.

Welcome to Stone Square Lodge No. 22 PHA of Middletown, Delaware.

Our Foundation

Core Values

01

Unity

We do more together than any of us could alone, and what we build, we build side by side.

02

Service

We show up for our neighbors through fellowship, charity, and steady work in the community.

03

Compassion

We look out for one another in hard times, and we speak up for people who need a voice.

Our Heritage

Who is Prince Hall?

In 1787, Prince Hall organized African Lodge No. 459 in Boston, the first Masonic lodge founded by and for Black Americans. An abolitionist and educator, he built a brotherhood that every Prince Hall lodge in the world, including ours, traces back to.
